Some Notes

Here are some scriptures a man of our group shared with me yesterday:

Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. [Matthew 6.10 NKJV]

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. [Isaiah 9.6-7]

Now, factor into your thinking of the scriptures above with this one:

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. [Romans 13.1]

We have, no doubt, a responsibility before God to understand the hierarchy of all things and to work within that hierarchy.

Can I just say that our responsibility starts with prayer?

Also, this note was shared with me by one of our group yesterday:

"Just a thought brothers and sisters it early voting starting today, so we need to be adamant about our prayers. Don't let up and be intent on your focus and the Lords will over our voting and all those out there casting their votes right now. Remember it's his will to be done not ours. May God Bless you each and everyone, keep strong in your resolve and let him be your strength. Bless you brother Greg for your continued strength and encouragement you give us all." DB

One more thing... (For those of you local to Sallisaw OK), a woman in our community sent an email to me click here about an event you may wish to participate in (or copy in your own location??).

PLNB!

I loved this brother Greg, it shows how the will of the world is upon us but as servants of the most high we are to submit and humble ourselves to that authority because all authority is given only by God. He his the prince of peace and ruler of all there was is and ever will be. He is our light. He is our strength. We must continually yield to his will to his authority and we will glorify him in all we do.

Thank you Father, keep us strong in our prayers and attentive to your voice and obedient to all you tell us to do. We humble ourselves to your will Father. Thank you for your gift of free will, we choose to honor and love you. Amen!
